Who we are
RM3DP (Rocky Mountain 3D Prints) is a family business in Colorado selling 3D printed products. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse our store, place an order, or contact us. For privacy questions, email info@rm3dp.com.
Information we collect
When you order, we collect your name, email address, billing and delivery addresses, the products and options you choose, and any order notes. We also receive your phone number if you provide it, payment status, and transaction references. When you contact us or request a custom order, we receive the information and files you choose to send.
Our store and hosting systems may record technical information such as your IP address, browser information, pages requested, and error or security logs. The store uses cookies and similar storage to remember your cart and checkout session. Blocking these may prevent the cart or checkout from working.
How we use information
We use information to process payments, prepare and deliver orders, send order and tracking updates, answer questions, resolve problems, maintain business records, and protect the store against misuse. Guest checkout is available; customer account registration is currently disabled.
Payments
Square processes card payments. Card details entered into Square’s payment form are handled by Square. Our store receives payment confirmations and transaction references and may retain limited card details, such as card type and the last four digits. We do not store your full card number or card security code in our store database. Square handles information under its privacy notice and, where applicable, its buyer-features privacy notice.
Shipping and other service providers
Our WordPress and WooCommerce store is hosted by Hosting.com. Our hosting, email, and backup services process information needed to operate the website, maintain backups, and communicate with you.
We use USPS shipping-rate tools and Pirate Ship to arrange shipments. Rate requests use information such as the destination ZIP code and package details. Pirate Ship’s connected order-import service can receive order details and customer contact and delivery information. Pirate Ship and the selected carrier receive information needed to create labels, deliver packages, and provide tracking. See Pirate Ship’s privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect the store, or resolve a dispute.
Tax calculations
We use WooCommerce Tax and connected tax-calculation services to calculate checkout tax using your delivery location and order amounts. For Colorado deliveries, we also send the delivery street address, city, state, and ZIP code to Colorado’s GIS tax-rate provider at api.ttr.services to verify the delivery’s tax jurisdictions and obtain applicable destination rates. This GIS lookup does not send your name, email address, order contents, or payment details.
Instagram and external links
We display our Instagram posts using Smash Balloon’s Instagram Feed plugin. Some media or features may load from Instagram or Meta, which can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Clicking a post or social link takes you to the relevant service, whose privacy practices apply. See Instagram’s privacy policy and Smash Balloon’s privacy policy.
Our links to Etsy and eBay take you to separate marketplaces. Orders placed there are also subject to those services’ privacy policies.
How long we keep information
We keep order and related records for customer support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and other business or legal requirements. The store currently has no automatic deletion schedule for order records; records remain until reviewed and removed manually. Backups and external service providers may retain copies under their own retention practices.
Your choices and requests
Email info@rm3dp.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. For information held independently by Square, Pirate Ship, or a social platform, you may also need to contact that provider.
Please do not email full payment-card details or sensitive identity documents when contacting us.

We may update this policy as our store or services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
